Professional conduct and thorough knowledge of regulations are essential for successful operations.

3. Prioritize Safety and Communication

When operating in busy urban environments, having a Visual Observer (VO) is invaluable. They serve as your first line of defense, handling public inquiries and helping manage potential conflicts. Remember that you're sharing airspace with helicopter traffic, and it's crucial to yield and maintain constant vigilance. Never fly over moving vehicles or people without proper waivers, regardless of transit status.

4. Invest in Quality Equipment

My journey into drone photography began when DJI acquired Hasselblad in 2017, sparking my interest in UAVs. In late 2022, I invested in the DJI Mavic 3 Classic, which combines excellent image quality with reliable performance. When choosing equipment, consider both the technical capabilities and the regulatory requirements for your intended use case.

As drone operators, we're ambassadors for the entire community. This means:

• Remaining calm and professional during law enforcement interactions
